As a not for profit community preschool, we rely on community fundraising for additional resources and upgrades to the preschool environment in order support the learning of our tamariki. We can’t do it without you.

From Fish n’ Chips, to incredible homemade baked goods, to awesome coffee, Leigh Eats mashes up traditional takeaways with top notch cafe food, with dangerously delicious results.

Leigh Sawmill

The legendary Sawmill consistently serves up great tunes, live music, perfect pizza and cold beer to all who need those things in their life. There’s a great playground for kids to boot.

Lee Fish

There’s been a fishery in Leigh 1957, today, Lee fish is a sustainable, line-caught fishing company that specializes in a premium fresh catch out of the clean Pacific Ocean.

Goat Island Marine Lab

Perched on cliffs above the sea, Leigh Marine Laboratory is highly regarded marine research base and most northerly campus of the University of Auckland.

Leigh General Store

The Leigh Store in the heart of the village keeps you well stocked up, with a range of groceries, ice cream, milkshakes, chilled beer and wine and takes care of Leigh’s postal needs.

Leigh Volunteer Fire Brigade

This is a volunteer station, meaning that all members dedicate their own time in order to serve this community. They respond to a variety of emergencies in our local area including fires, medical and motor vehicle accidents.
